Accountable for finance, accounting and tax function including financial management reporting of the company (and Group), controlling functions in treasury, accounting, cash-flow management, tax and audit activities to achieve the company vision. To ensure that all financial and accounting reports are in accordance with the Malaysia General Accepted Accounting principles including relevant Tax authorities and Government bank regulations, also comply with international regulation (for operations based in overseas). To formulate short and long term financial goals to include financial planning, forecasting, financial modelling, access the Group financial viability of potential projects, merger and acquisition due diligence / acquisition valuation analysis. Responsible to review the company structure for proper tax planning and savings prepare financial forecast and cash flow projections. Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities; and other financial expertise, not limited to proposals and recommendations and any other ad hoc financial related matters to the board of executives for decision making. Working closely with external authorities i.e. auditors, tax agents, bankers and other consultants. Co-ordinated effectively and efficiently with these external resources to achieved desired out come of projects. Any other duties assigned form time to time by the Management. Job requirement Must be a Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant / Certified Management Accountant; and a member of MIA. At least 10 years of related working experience with at least 5 years in management role. Strong project management and problem-solving skills & well versed in MFRS & IFRS. Experience in reporting requirements for listed companies. Big four firm audit experience is preferred.
