Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment within a designated are. The primary goal is to ensure cleanliness and tidiness while adhering to health and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain rooms, public areas, or designated workspaces by following established cleaning procedures and checklists.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as necessary.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners.
- Disinfect and clean surfaces, including countertops, appliances, and bathroom fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Handle and store cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Keep track of inventory and request cleaning supplies when needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Interact with guests, clients, or residents in a polite and professional manner.
- Adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards when cleaning private areas.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and maintain good teamwork.
- Attend training sessions on cleaning procedures, safety, and customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
Expected hours: 7.5 – 11.5 per week
