Database Engineer (NoSQL)

As a Database Engineer (NoSQL), you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining our high-performance, large-scale track & trace systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our NoSQL databases, which underpin our core business operations. Responsibilities • Design and manage distributed NoSQL databases to support large-scale track & trace systems. • Optimize queries and database structure to ensure performance at scale. • Implement data replication and sharding strategies to ensure high availability. • Collaborate with developers to design efficient data models. • Ensure data integrity and security across billions of records. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB. • Strong understanding of distributed databases and query optimization. • Experience with database security and access control mechanisms. • Experience with backup and recovery strategies in large-scale environments. • Familiarity with cloud-based database services. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • Strong understanding of database concepts, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. • Experience with distributed systems and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
