Job Summary As a Sales Designer, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between customer vision and our cabinet/furniture designs. You will consult with clients, provide creative solutions, and guide them through the entire sales and design process. Your expertise will help clients make informed choices about materials, layouts, finishes, and other customization options that align with their functional needs and aesthetic preferences. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Consultation: 1.a) Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget for cabinetry or furniture projects. 1.b) Offer expert advice on materials, design styles, finishes, and color schemes that meet client needs and our product offerings. 2. Sales Process: 2.a) Prepare and present design proposals, quotations, and 3D renderings that align with clients’ requirements. 2.b) Communicate project timelines, payment structures, and policies to ensure clients are well-informed and comfortable with the process. 2.c) Negotiate and close sales, ensuring a positive customer experience and achieving sales targets. 3. Design Development: 3.a) Collaborate with the design and production teams to create functional and aesthetic designs that meet company standards and client expectations. 3.b) Utilize software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design tools to develop detailed designs and drawings. 3.c) Make adjustments to designs as necessary based on client feedback or production feasibility. 4. Project Management: 4.a) Oversee each project from initial concept through to installation, maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams. 4.b) Ensure that project deadlines are met and that clients are kept informed of progress and any changes. 5. Customer Relationship Management: 5.a) Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering follow-up support and addressing any questions or concerns after project completion. 5.b) Collect feedback to enhance our service and ensure high customer satisfaction. 6. Market Knowledge & Trends: 6.a) Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and design innovations in cabinetry and furniture making. 6.b) Propose fresh ideas and concepts to keep our offerings competitive and appealing to customers. 7. Qualifications: a) Experience: 1+ years of sales or design experience in the cabinetry, furniture, or interior design industry. b) Education: Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Sales, or related field preferred. c) Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp), strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects. d) Knowledge: Familiarity with materials, finishes, and hardware options commonly used in cabinetry and furniture. 8.
