Safety and Health Coordinator

Job Description: 1. To act as coordinator to the safety and health committee and ensure that the safety meets its regulation and compliance. 2. To prepare and establish safety & health documentation as per occupational safety and health Act requirements. 3. To ensure the workers’ health and safety with preventive measures in accordance to DOSH requirements. 4. To look into the overall health and safety of the workers by monitoring and reminding them of the OSH policy. 5. To conduct safety inspection, ensure workers wearing PPE, workers follow risk assessment and safe work procedure. 6. To liaise with relevant authorities (JKKP, CIDB, Bomba, KKM, etc) to promptly resolve any safety issues. 7. To involve in emergency response team. 8. To investigate and prepare report on all near miss incident and accidents. 9. To assist in the safety audit. 10. To abide to the Environmental, Safety and Health regulations (Internal & External). 11. Accomplish work related activities or tasks assigned by superior as needed. Job Requirement: 1. Possess Certificate in OSH Coordinator or equivalent. 2. Minimum 3 years working experience, preferable in factory line. 3. Good knowledge of workplace health, safety and environment regulations. 4. Good in interpersonal skill, able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Production teams and other parties. 5. Good oral and written communication skills. 6. Good in people skill and detail oriented. 7. Able to work independently and under pressure.
