Operator

This position is part of a rotating shift roster with an opportunity to earn overtime pay. The role will be responsible for efficient operation of the vertical kiln and associated plant & equipment to meet quality, cost and volume targets taking into account safety and environmental standards, recording accurate process information for operational and maintenance use. Additional key tasks include: Working in control room and monitoring process and equipment. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders such as maintenance, logistics, laboratory and engineering. Mobile equipment operation when needed (forklifts) General dispatching activities such as helping truck drivers accurately loading bulk product. General housekeeping duties & routine plant checks. To be successful in this role: Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous, but not essential as full in-house training will be given) Ability to work successfully both as an individual and as part of a team. Intermediate computer skills combined with verbal and written communication skills.
