PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING: Position: EVENTS & OPERATIONS ASSISTANT Job Descriptions 1. Events: - Assist in communicating with stakeholders related to the event. - Assist in event planning. - Assist in documentation related to events. - Help oversee and coordinate the work of event staff, such as volunteers and event suppliers. - Assist with event equipment management. - Maintain clear and effective communication when working with clients, vendors, Tertib Publishing’s team members, and other relevant parties. - Be able to come up with creative solutions to challenges that may arise during the planning and execution of an event. - Need to be adaptable and able to handle changes or unexpected situations. - Maintain records of agreements and other relevant documents. - Assist in any ad-hoc matters as necessary. - Provide general assistance to the team as needed. 2. Operations: - Coordinate logistics (including postage and shipment) for Tertib Publishing, ensuring smooth delivery for both regular operations and events. - Respond to customer inquiries regarding postage and shipment as needed. - Conduct monthly stock counts of books, as well as after events, to ensure accurate inventory management. - Maintain the store, keeping it clean and organised at all times. - Perform quality checks (QC) on newly arrived books from printing suppliers to ensure they meet company standards. - Participate in company events and campaigns, which may occur on weekends. - Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel. - Capable of handling customer communication via email, WhatsApp, or phone calls. - Experience with the SQL system is preferred. Job Requirements: 1. Must be willing to work during weekends (replacement leave & OT allowance is provided) 2. Minimum Diploma preferably in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Tourism, or any field related. 3. Candidates are required to work from the office and must be able to commute to the office (located in SS15 Subang Jaya). 4. Candidates must possess a valid driving licence. 5. Must be fit to work with short deadlines, and probably long hours (sometimes on weekends & public holidays). Office Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor (SS 15) Salary: RM 2300 - RM 2700 (Depending on experience & qualifications).
