Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor/ Taiping, Perak/ Johor Bahru, Johor JOB REQUIREMENTS Possess diploma/degree in IT Can speak English and Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is added advantage. 1-3 years relevant working experience with network and wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure . Knowledgeable on plan and configure multi VLAN for corporate network Knowledge on handling ARUBA network equipment Hands on experience in configuring network , as well as trouble shooting and resolving network problems including firewall configuration and trouble shooting Ability to study and plan on IT infrastructure , routing and communicate well within internal staff and external vendor on project discussion and implementation Familiar with network security and compliance with appropriate security configuration and standard Familiar with monitoring tools such as Paessler PRTG and Zabbix Good knowledge in network access control (NEC) product, e.g. Aruba clearpass policy manager Good knowledge of firewall technologies e.g. IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS on fortigate Ability to follow system standards, create and maintain comprehensive documentation and network diagram RESPONSIBILITIES: Run day to day operations to maintain network system uptime, monitor network performance, and identity any issues that arise. Proactively addressing them to prevent downtime or security breaches, working closely with other IT professional as needed Participate in IT projects discussion , set up and deliver network infrastructure services for the IT projects Work closely with vendor to draft and implement new network path as and when needed Enforce IT policies, standards and procedures for all the network set up Work closely with the information security team, to implement security information policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and industry standard Ensuring all network related diagrams and documentations are up to date and readily available Staying up to date with the emerging technologies and industry trends and making recommendations on how to improve network efficiency and security Standby for on call support after office hours as and when required
