BLAST FURNACE OPERATION SPECIALIST

Support the weekly operations production schedule ensuring any shutdown work is integrated into the maintenance plan Review operations performance against objectives and supporting KPIs ie production rate, wind losses, plant issues etc Analyse daily and weekly data to identify trends and recommend changes to operating strategies to optimize performance Identifying defects and performing root cause analysis Operational supervision of service providers through to completion of works Drive operational excellence using process improvement techniques Operational supervision of inventory and consumables availability including cost control Providing support to the operations, maintenance and technology teams Administration of the Blast Furnace isolation database and preparation of the required isolation procedures and vessel clearances to allow works to proceed 5+ years of experience as an operations/machinery specialist or in a similar role. Ability to analyze and improve operational processes. Strong problem-solving and time management skills. Strong self disciplinary management ability Ability in speak, write , read in mandarin language High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure and high thermal environment
