Responsibilities: • Design and automate workflows within QGIS to process pre-processed drone data and IoT sensor data. • Develop and maintain QGIS plugins and scripts using Python to streamline operations and integrate various data sources. • Design user-friendly reports that provide actionable insights on crop health, soil conditions, and other agricultural factors using the processed data. • Collaborate with remote sensing experts and agronomists to ensure the relevance and accuracy of agricultural data presented. • Continuously improve reporting tools based on user feedback and advancements in GIS technology. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Agricultural Engineering, or related field. • Strong proficiency in QGIS and its plugins. • Demonstrated experience with Python, specifically for automation and working with APIs in a GIS context. • Experience in processing and analyzing remote sensing data and familiarity with agricultural applications. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. • Effective communication skills to translate complex data into understandable reports and insights. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in agriculture technology or working with agricultural data. • Knowledge of other GIS software and remote sensing tools.
