New Project & Process Technical Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: New Project Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)  Follow Testing Schedule: Adhere to the testing schedule and trial shot quantity as provided by the engineering department.  Testing Reports: Record all testing results in the designated testing report, ensuring accuracy and completeness.  Customer Parameter Information: Obtain and apply customer parameters, process water flow, and core function details from the engineering department for each project.  Mold Testing: Ensure every new transfer mold undergoes testing at the tooling department before proceeding with trials in production.  Water Flow Pressure: Verify mold water flow pressure to be at 0.5 flow rate; if deviations occur, highlight them to the engineering department.  Cycle Time Adherence: Ensure that customer cycle time is achieved during trials. If not met, promptly inform engineering for further action.  Defect Management: In the event of quality issues during trials, provide defect samples to both the engineering and QC departments for mass production caution and improvement. Project Advisor  Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager, Superintendent, and Technicians to advise on optimal methods to achieve daily production targets effectively and efficiently. Master Parameter Approval  Approval Process: Act as the person-in-charge (PIC) for master parameter approval. Ensure all changes are reviewed and approved in alignment with customer specifications and requirements. 5M Management i. MOLD  Mold Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the tooling and production teams to discuss necessary tool modifications or repairs as needed.  Design Changes: Submit mold design change requests to the engineering team to secure customer approval for any significant alterations. ii. MACHINE  Machine Maintenance: Advise the Maintenance team on how to resolve machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. iii. MATERIAL  Material Temperature Control: Ensure production materials are processed at the correct temperature to meet the required standards. iv. MANPOWER  Training & Skill Development: Provide training and guidance to Setup Technicians and Machine Adjusters on proper production setup and machine operation methods. v. METHOD  Process Optimization: Advise production teams on how to streamline production processes for smoother and more efficient operations. Skills and Qualifications:  Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields.  Minimum of 5 years of experience in production or project management within the manufacturing industry.  Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and tooling techniques.  Ability to troubleshoot mold, machine, and material issues effectively.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially across departments.  Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to customer specifications and timelines. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):  Timeliness and accuracy of trial and testing reports.  Adherence to customer cycle times and parameter requirements.  Successful resolution of mold and machine issues without impacting production.  Compliance with engineering and customer-approved parameters
