CNC PROGRAMER

Job description: 1. Completes work assignments according to process prints, work orders, tool room plan, parts list, or any other provided official schedule. 2. Set up and troubleshoot 5-axis machines for large complex parts, including 5-axis with 90-degree head attachments. 3. Operating and performing quality checks on Vertical CNC machines. 4. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. 5. Able to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and others to check his tests or outputs in conformance with quality products. 6. Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities. 7. Perform basic troubleshooting of CNC programs. 8. Loading work pieces into the machine, layout, and setting program offsets. 9. Monitoring the machining process, and identifying and correcting issues. 10. Unloading and deburring of semi-finished parts. 11. Indexing carbide inserts, rebuilding, and basic repairs of the tooling system. 12. Basic machine maintenance (simple repairs, filling oil tanks, cleaning out chips and debris.
