Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and tools according to health and safety standards. Stock Management: Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies and other kitchen items. Monitor food inventory and notify the chef when supplies are running low. Supporting the Kitchen Team: Provide general assistance to the kitchen staff during busy periods. Help with food plating and preparation for serving during peak times. Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen waste properly and ensure recycling is done where applicable. Ensure food storage areas are clean and organized.
