Job Description System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the customer's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals, in this case IT end user, partners to ensure that the systems and network infrastructure are operating efficiently and securely. Your role will involve in IT system project study, design, installation, test run and post installation such as troubleshooting, as well as periodic optimizing performance, as well as schedule maintenance. Other duties include attending project meeting, technical requirement study, project planning and technical deployment of the IT system project with other project team members. Requirement: ~ Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field ~ Proven experience in implementing, and managing system infrastructure solutions ~ Strong knowledge of operating systems & storages (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) ~ Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) ~ Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus ~ Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous ~ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team ~ Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization ~ Result oriented with excellent process and SOP executor with right attitudes is important. ~ Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous ~ Minimum 2-5 years working experience in a system operation position. Responsibilities: ~ Implement, and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network devices ~ Configure and deploy operating systems, applications, and services according to best practices ~ Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansions ~ Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel, such as clients and vendors ~ Prepare pre and post-project documentation ~ Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalation ~ Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA Working Hour: ~ Monday to Friday, 8:30am 6:00pm ~ Occasionally Weekend and Public Holiday on Project basis Benefit: ~ Allowance and Claims ~ On Job Training & Certification ~ EPF & SOCSO ~ Insurance ~ Performance Bonus
