In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our systems. This position requires expertise in BGP routing, network performance optimization, and hands-on experience with a variety of networking technologies. Key Responsibilities: - BGP Peering & Optimization: Configure and manage BGP peering sessions with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and external networks to ensure optimal traffic flow and meet network performance benchmarks. - Routing Policy Management: Develop and fine-tune BGP routing policies to optimize network performance, reliability, and security. - Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Monitor and proactively address BGP routing issues, providing timely solutions to maintain high availability and minimize downtime. - Capacity Planning: Collaborate on network capacity planning and scaling strategies to ensure readiness for future growth and evolving demands. - Network Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of BGP configurations, routing policies, and network architecture for knowledge sharing and future reference. - Network Architecture & Management: Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including configuring and maintaining critical network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). - Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Conduct continuous monitoring of network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure efficiency and uptime. - Security & Access Control: Enforce robust network security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data and systems. - Technology & Trend Updates: Stay current on emerging networking technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance the organization’s networking capabilities. - Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues. - Operating Systems Installation & Configuration: Install and configure network-related operating systems (Linux, Windows) as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications preferred - Technical Expertise: Proficient in operating systems such as Linux and Winsorw Server; in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, iBGP). - Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, with proven expertise in routing, switching, and network security. - Infrastructure Management: Extensive experience in managing LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments with enterprise-grade equipment. - Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex network issues efficiently. - Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document processes and collaborate effectively with IT and business teams. - Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to team efforts in a fast-paced environment
