Mechanical Engineer

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent. At least 5 years of working experience in a related field such as Electric Ride on Road floor Sweeper/scraper, push walk mechines, Pressure washer/Sewer jet/floor sweeper is required for this position. As a mechanical engineer, you'll be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery in industrial settings. Using computerized systems, you'll oversee routine maintenance and organize repairs. You'll also be involved with control and monitoring devices and occasionally in the manufacture of items that will help in maintenance. Responsibilities: Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults Diagnose breakdown problems Monitor installation new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and colleagues Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment Improve health and safety policies and procedures in the department Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines Skills required: The capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures business skills, as you may be responsible for managing budgets, leading a team and liaising with suppliers The confidence to respond positively when under pressure Man-management skills.
