Lead, Procurement & Supply Chain

As the Head of Procurement, you will lead and manage the procurement function within the Supply Chain & Procurement Department, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost control to support the company's operations in manufacturing, technology, and robotics solutions. Reporting directly to the COO/CEO, you will ensure that all procurement activities align with the company’s objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless supply chain for our advanced drone and robotic products, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Autonomous Ground Vehicles (AGVs), by collaborating closely with R&D, production, and other departments to meet business goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's operational and financial objectives. Identify and source new suppliers, materials, and technologies, focusing on innovation and cost reduction. Negotiate long-term contracts, ensuring favorable terms for pricing, quality, and delivery. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. Evaluate supplier performance regularly based on quality, delivery, and cost criteria. Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation in the development of new products and technologies. Cost Management & Optimization: Monitor procurement costs, budget, and forecasts, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines. Lead cost reduction initiatives in partnership with internal teams (engineering, operations) and external suppliers. Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the procurement team, ensuring professional growth and the development of core competencies. Implement best practices for procurement processes and train the team on effective procurement strategies. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and local laws for procurement activities. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Implement ethical sourcing policies and ensure sustainability in the procurement process. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, finance, and other departments to understand and anticipate procurement needs. Align procurement strategies with the company’s product development and manufacturing timelines, especially for UAV and AGV systems.
