JOB DESCRIPTIONS: - Responsible for routine laboratory quality control analysis - Perform quality control tests and maintain detailed records of all experiments and results. - Obtains samples for routine quality control purposes personally from the production processes. - Verifies all internal and external test reports and certificates. - Reports to the plant manager on all discrepancies/disputes of the quality of the products. - Carry out internal calibration of laboratory equipment - Carry out analysis using XRF analysis - Update product analysis for all products that have been tested -Train lab assistants on new equipment and analysis techniques. - Arrange for external calibration of lab equipment and external analyses of products - Restock lab equipment and chemicals necessary for testing - Ensure all laboratory documentation is accurate, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards. - Prepare technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for QAQC departments. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field (master’s preferred). - Experience with chemicals and testing - Preferably a registered Chemist in Institute Kimia Malaysia (IKM) - To work in Kuantan, Pahang - Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Proficiency in laboratory equipment and techniques, including XRF analysis - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. -Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance regulation - An RPO certificate is preferable and will enhance your application Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.00am-5.00pm) Location: Kawasan Industri Gebeng, 26100 Kuantan, Pahang
