Job Requirements: Certification: - Must possess valid certification as a Wireman (PW1, PW2, or higher). - Certification by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) is preferred. Experience: - At least 2-3 years of working experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair. - Experience working in agricultural or industrial settings, especially on farms, is an advantage. Physical Requirements: - Must be able to work in a physically demanding farm environment. - Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions. - Ability to lift and handle equipment or tools as required. Availability: - Must be available for emergency repairs and occasional overtime. Job Scope: Electrical Maintenance: - Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and systems on the layer farm. - Ensure proper functioning of farm equipment, lighting, ventilation, feeding systems, and other electrical components. Installation & Upgrades: - Install new electrical equipment or systems in the farm, including feeders, fans, and lighting systems. - Upgrade or modify existing electrical systems to meet farm operational needs or regulations. Troubleshooting: - Diagnose electrical issues and perform timely repairs to avoid disruptions to the farm’s operations. - Respond to emergency electrical failures or malfunctions. Safety Compliance: - Adhere to safety standards and regulations set by the Energy Commission and other relevant authorities. - Ensure the farm’s electrical systems are safe for both animals and farm workers. Reporting: - Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and installations. - Report any electrical issues or hazards to farm management.
