Mechanical Technician

POSITION PURPOSE: To carry out, execute and implement all mechanical maintenance activities. To work safely and to wear the necessary Safety equipment while at work. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist Supervisor in develop and establish maintenance work procedure. • Assist Supervisor in develop critical maintenance SOP, JHA. • Assist Supervisor develop repair procedure for major equipment. • Responsible for the overall mechanical equipment performance in his custodian area. • Perform all maintenance programmes are carried out as planned with the aim to achieve high plant availability, optimum resource utilisation, optimum maintenance cost and attentive process support. • To perform all maintenance works are done to the required standard. • To carry out maintenance work timely to avoid unnecessary unplanned downtime • Prepare and co-ordinate shut and run work activities and involve in work planning and contractor’s evaluation. • To carry out maintenance work timely to avoid unnecessary unplanned downtime. To carry out root cause failure analysis to avoid recurrence. • Responsible for the mechanical equipment performance assigned to him. • To carry out as the maintenance programme the aim to achieve high plant availability and attentive process support. • To support maintenance cost savings initiative. • Prepare and carry out shut and run work activities. • Involve in root cause failure analysis to avoid recurrence. • Work closely with Production team and have regular discussion and review for equipment performance and improvement activities. • Attentive to Production request.
