Project Manager

* Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. * Produce a labour schedule in conjunction with line manager and engineer to ensure subcontractors packages are placed in time to meet the programme. * Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations. *Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing *Interpret and explain plans and contract terms and administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the Company. *Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, change and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, client, suppliers and subcontractors. *Direct and supervise workers. *Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site. *Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems. *Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out. *Have a commercial understanding of the project, advising and implementing cost savings at all times, and represent the Company in a professional and proactive manner in all dealings with those associated with, and affected by the construction. *Maintain accurate and up to date records for site attendance, site induction, tool box talks, accidents, good received, weekly site records, site safety inspections, plant register records, scaffold report records and all staff related to forms / administration.
