Safety and Health Officer (Full Time / Part Time) Responsibilities: Support the development of OHS policies and programs Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.) Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment) Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management Carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the management from time to time. Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety Health & Environment. At least 3 years of working experience as a Safety Officer in the construction project. Possess a valid Green Book from DOSH. Willing to travel when needed Prior experience in logistics, supply chain management, or construction is highly beneficial. Proficiency in inventory management software. Good understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment. Ability to stand, walk, or move around the site for extended periods. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing inventory.
