As an Accounts Executive, you will provide support to the Finance Department by managing daily accounting tasks including: - Provide financial and administrative services, including processing finance documents and filing documents. - Perform the day-to-day accounts transactions to ensure that company finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner. - Provide administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations. - Contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. Finance - Daily processing, verifying and posting receipts - Researching and resolving account discrepancies - Update financial data in database to ensure information are accurate and immediately be available when needed - Attend customer inquiries about invoices and payments - Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete; and account receivable ledgers and journal are up-to-date. - Generate and prepare weekly/monthly reports and statements - Post and process any related journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. - Assist Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closing - Perform other related duties as required Banking - Login to Internet banking to check bank balances and download statements - Record all cash books for all banks - Perform bank reconciliation - Any ad hoc banking matter Admin - Performing administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filling paperwork and contacting customers to discuss their accounts. - Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files Team Work - Sharing information with team members - Be comfortable in working with all types of stakeholders - Collaborate with other team members to apply new ideas, practices and tools to improve the team’s effectiveness - Perform other duties as required, including covering absences/leave where required Requirements - High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred - Must have strong work ethics - Must be well organized and a self-starter - Proficient in Excel and Word - Possess strong organizational and time management skills - Knowledge of applicable accounts receivable/payable/general ledger systems and procedures and corporate procedures - Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately
