Job Requirement- -Diploma: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related filed or equivalent and demonstrated 1 year experience -Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models -Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) and CAM software -Knowledge of precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM for part inspection -Familiarity with machining materials (eg. steel, aluminum, plastics) and tool selection for specific jobs -Quick thinking to adjust machine setting, tools, or programs to correct defects and minimize downtime -Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues related to machine setup, tool wear, or CNC programming errors -Capability to optimize machining processes by adjusting tool paths, speeds, and feeds to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and maximize tool life Job Reponsibilities: -Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications -This role involves programming, tool setup, quality control, and troubleshooting to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety -Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or grinders) to produce components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models _Configure machine settings, load materials, select the proper tools, and adjust the machine parameters (e.g, speed, feed rates, cutting depths) for optimal performance -Interpret and execute CNC programming (G-code and M-code) to machine parts efficiently and accurately -Choose appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures based on material type and job specifications. Regularly monitor and maintain tooling, sharpening or replacing tools as necessary to ensure precision and quality -Perform-in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), to verify part accuracy. Ensure parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards by reviewing blueprints, specifications, and using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) -Identify and troubleshoot machine or tooling issues, programming errors, and defects in production, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain quality and efficiency -Competence in maintaining accurate records of machine setups, tool changes, part inspections, and production output. Report machine issues, quality concerns, or production challenges to supervisors in clear and timely manner
