Autocad Drafter (Aluminium & Glazing)

Requirements: Preferably a diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia Proven experience (2 years) as an AutoCAD drafter, preferably in the aluminium and glazing industry Proficient in Autocad (2D) and other relevant software such as Revit, SketchUp, etc Strong understanding of aluminium and glazing products, including window and door systems Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans, and translate them into detailed drawings Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities: Create accurate and detailed 2D using AutoCAD, based on architectural and engineering specifications Draft shop drawings for windows, doors, curtain walls, and other glazing systems in compliance with project requirements Modify and update drawings as required during the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with technical and esthetic speci9 Collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to interpret design intent and develop efficient solutions Conduct material take-offs and prepare a bill of quantities (BOQ) as needed Ensure that all drawings comply with the industry standards, regulations and company guidelines Assist with the coordination and communication of the design revisions to the production team Review and check the accuracy of final design deliverables before submission Maintain a strong understanding of aluminium and glazing materials, including their properties and fabrication process
