Job Responsibilities: - To report to superior and shall be responsible for all QS and contractual matters related to the execution of the construction contract including but not limited to payment certificates, claims, variation orders, etc. - Regularly report and monitor on project quality and quantity in conformity with project specification and requirements. - Responsible for quantity, budget estimation from design drawings, design modification tracking, cost adjustments, progress report, repare and analyze cost comparison. - Communicate cost estimate adjustments to management and contractors to ensure a smooth transition of information. - Prepare a quantity and cost statement, cost planning ledger, a variation ledger, a measurement ledger, subcontract settlement and payment ledgers. - Responsible in collecting cost data, coordinating cost analysis, calculating and completing output value planning. - Maintain a contract-compliant record of work progress, resolve construction disputes, and photograph construction activity on-site. - Participate in tenders, prepare and submit relevant tender documents and information. - Manage the department's documentation and maintaining proper project documentation. - Measurement, taking off for on-going projects/issuance of contractual letters and notices to clients, contractors and suppliers. - Coordinate with project teams in administering contractual claims such as variation orders, extension of time, loss expenses, etc. - Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with contractors and suppliers. Job Requirements: - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying. - 5 years and above of working experience in construction field, the experience of interior design will have added advantage. - Possesses good understanding on development project specification and construction and its designs. - Able to manage and co-ordinate project related contractual matters, including suppliers claims. - Attending site valuation, site meeting, preparing progress payment and progress report. - Able to travel outstation and willing to work outside normal working hours as and when required. - Willing to travel or transferred at site when required. - Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with Consultants, Construction Team and Contractors. - Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders. - Able to work in a fast pace environment and willing to do multitasking. - Good interpersonal skills to all levels. - Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines. - Ability to plan and control cost effectively. - Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin, as interactions is with Mandarin speaking clients. - Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Management. - Able to start immediately.
