Production Engineer (Plant)

PRODUCTION ENGINEER Job Description Safety Compliance: To adhere to safety rules and procedures by adopting established safety code & practices and regulatory requirements. End result: Ensure all employee working in Safe & Sound environment. Compliance to OHSAS 18001 Management program and achieve excellent HSE performance. Operability Maximization: To assist Production Superintendent in: Setting up long term plant equipment performance monitoring & carry out test run/trial of equipment / systems. Planning and identifying process limitation and abnormalities during plant start-up / shutdown / transition / normal operation and propose methods to resolve the problems. Consistently review and update plant interlock system. End result: Achieve safe & reliable operation maximum production output and consistence good quality product through equipment’s reliability improvement. Operational Control: To established operating guidelines base on design condition and plant capability. T o provide input on technical know-how when generating work instruction. End result: Optimize Process operating condition and ensure operating procedures are established based on proper engineering guidelines. Quality Control: To establish quality and process control plan based on plant operating constraints End result: Improves quality index performance and reduce customer complaints. Plant optimization (Lead / propose plant improvement): Execute and implement plant utilities and energy improvement programs Execute and implement cost down/cost saving programs Initiate studies involve improvement / modification to the current plant conditions and propose most probable solution. End result: Maximize plant efficiency and maximize cash conversion cost & wastages, within the specified design guidelines. Improve plant capacity & flexibility through plant operational improvement. Reporting: To prepare and analyze daily & monthly production report to ensure that production figures and material to date represent the actual plant performance. End result: Achieve on time and accurate production reporting. Identify production loss and abnormal consumption due to plant abnormalities ISO9001 QMS Administration: To administrate department ISO9001 quality management system. End result:Compliance and maintain certificate status ISO9001 quality management system. Data Management: To gather and establish data for specific product run parameters. End result:To enable troubleshooting and optimization of systems based on changes and historical data. To be successful in this role: Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from reputable university. Experience in related Petrochemical/Process fields is an advantage. 1 - 3 years or fresh graduate are encourage to apply. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
