JOB DESCRIPTIONS:- 1. Lead the production team in daily operations. 2. Review and ensure that production schedules and efficiency align with the Company's targets. 3. Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in furniture production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. 4. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and components, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock availability. 5. Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety. 6. Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve optimal performance and quality output. 7. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. 8. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement design changes for improved efficiency and quality. 9. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed. 10. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize productivity and reduce waste. 11. Liaise with other departments such as quality assurance, logistics, and sales to address production-related issues and ensure timely delivery of finished products. 12. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects to enhance overall production efficiency and effectiveness. JOB REQUIREMENTS:- • Candidates must possess at least an SPM qualification or above. • Preferably specializing in the manufacturing of wooden furniture. • Familiarity with woodworking machines is essential. • Minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience in the furniture industry is required. • Must be able to work independently, demonstrate effective management skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment. • Creativity, multitasking ability, and responsiveness to urgent requests are necessary. • Good discipline and attendance record with minimal unplanned leave. • Must be a team player with a positive attitude towards work and the company. • Immediate availability to start work is an advantage.
