Account Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Executive to handle the full set of accounts and manage all accounting-related matters independently. The ideal candidate must be familiar with the MYOB system and possess the ability to collaborate effectively with internal auditors. This role requires someone who can work autonomously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Full Set of Accounts: Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. MYOB System: Utilize the MYOB accounting system for data entry, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial data. Month-End and Year-End Closing: Perform month-end and year-end financial closing, including preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Internal Auditing: Work closely with internal auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls and to facilitate smooth audit processes. Tax Compliance: Handle all tax-related matters, including tax planning, filing of GST/SST, income tax, and liaising with tax authorities when necessary. Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure that discrepancies are investigated and resolved. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing. Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, keeping up to date with changes in local accounting rules and tax legislation.
