Metal Furniture Machine Operator

Job Description 1 Ability to read and interpret drawings with minimal supervision. 2 To operate metal machinery such as press brake, V-cutting machine, drill press, bench grinder, laser cutting etc. 3 To do welding on the metal joints. 4 To responsible for the basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning machinery, lubricating moving parts, filling up the checklist etc. 5 Ability to follow instruction. 6 Ability to assess the quality of the material such as stainless steel etc. 7 Ensure the health and safety practices are strictly followed. 8 Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull and lift heavy objects. 9 To complete ad-hoc tasks and other duties as assigned. Requirement 1 High School/ SPM/ Certificate/ Diploma. 2 Experience in operating metal machinery would be an added advantage. 3 More than 2 years' experience of operating machines/ tools. 4 Good communication skill. 5 Physically fit with good hand eye coordination. 6 Knowledge of mathematics 7 Ability to work in a team and follow instruction. 8 Detailed-oriented.
