DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising the M&E works. 2. To assist Resident Engineer and contractor and ensure compliance to all project schedule and budgets and evaluate all associated equipment and workforce to meet all design requirements. 3. To assist Resident Engineer to provide an interface with design group and resolve all issues of contractor, evaluate and prepare reports. 4. To coordinate with survey team and monitor work schedule as per construction project and collaborate with contractor and suppliers to ensure compliance project drawings and specifications. 5. To assist Resident Engineer to evaluate contractor’s method statements, to document all mechanical and electrical field activities on everyday basis, perform regular inspection and site join measurement and certify work done, supervise sampling, testing and to verify, evaluate contractor’s claims, check progress of projects, check and evaluate contractor’s weekly and monthly quality and monthly progress reports, analyze and prepare plans for material requisitions, prepare and update all drawings for projects. 6. To document all mechanical and electrical activities and perform regular inspection and site join measurement to check progress of projects and for contractor’s interim claims. 7. To monitor and implement all safety program for projects and for assign areas. 8. To submit weekly report to the Resident Engineer / Project Manager. 9. To obtain own timesheet approval from the client’s Site Representative. 10. To promote the awareness of health, safety and environmental requirements throughout the company. REQUIREMENT: • Diploma in Electrical (Electrical Building Services). • A minimum of 5 years of Inspector of Work (IOW). • Possess with a valid CIDB GREEN CARD. • Preferable experience in Government or JKR Project.
