SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Job Qualification: 1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent. 2. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. 3. Strong knowledge of safety standards, SSS (Site Safety Supervisor) qualification is highly preferable 4. Minimum 2 years’ experience in supervision works in construction activities Job Scope : 1. To observe and/or maintain a diary detailing safety activity(s), hazardous works, housekeeping, safety instruction, etc. in place. 2. Take pro-active measures to identify hazard, assess the risk and then implement suitable control measures to eliminate all dangers. 3. To ensure subcontractors comply to the requirements of the Safety Management System which outlined their responsibilities and commitments. 4. Review Safety Management System in order to introduce improvement and amendments as to reflect changing work situation and progress at site. 6. To conduct site safety inspection and recommend corrective action for unsafe act of workers and rectification for unsafe condition in all workplaces by submitting written report to HQ. 7. To observe and/or maintain a diary detailing safety activity(s), hazardous works, housekeeping, safety instruction, etc. in place.
