Cleaning Technician

Job Overview: As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various facilities, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your primary duties will include performing cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all occupants. Key Responsibilities: Perform Cleaning Tasks: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, walls, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning products. Empty trash and recycle bins; dispose of waste in compliance with regulations. Sanitize Restrooms and Common Areas: Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and kitchens. Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Maintain Equipment: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuums, buffers, and scrubbers. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor. Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a professional manner. Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction. Document Work Activities: Maintain logs of cleaning tasks performed and report any issues or concerns to management. Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services is an advantage but not required. Skills: Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working in various environments, including potentially hazardous areas.
