Job Description: The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales for the company's landscaping services, including residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Identify and target potential customers for landscaping services, including homeowners, property managers, and businesses. Actively pursue leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Schedule and conduct sales meetings with prospective clients to understand their landscaping requirements and offer tailored solutions. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Follow up with clients after services are rendered to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for future improvement. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to services. Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients, showcasing the company’s landscaping services and past projects. Develop and submit detailed proposals and quotations, ensuring they align with customer needs and budget. Negotiate terms, close deals, and finalize contracts with clients. Market Research and Strategy: Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and identify new business opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that promote the company’s services. Site Visits and Project Coordination: Visit project sites to assess customer needs and offer tailored landscaping solutions. Work closely with the project management team to ensure services are delivered as promised. Monitor project progress to keep clients informed and ensure customer satisfaction. Sales Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals, and closed deals. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management. Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, opportunities, and client information. Participating in Events and Trade Shows: Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and community functions to generate leads. Distribute promotional materials and engage with potential customers to build brand awareness. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the landscaping, construction, or related industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings. Additional Requirements: Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, plants, and materials (training can be provided). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required for client meetings or events.
