WORK LOCATION: MENARA PELITA, KUCHING, SARAWAK JOB SUMMARY Manages the daily operations of external security guards to protect the company’s buildings and assets. This role involves developing security strategies, policies, and procedures in line with legal requirements. The Security Executive will oversee security operations, prepare reports, and ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Supervise External Security Team: •Oversee the performance and deployment of external security guards at various company locations, and to conduct security inspection to ensure all safety protocols are being followed. 2.Develop Security Policies and Procedures: •Formulate, implement, and regularly review security policies and procedures to ensure they meet legal requirements and company objectives. 3.Risk Assessment & Mitigation: •Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, recommending and implementing preventative measures. 4.Regulatory Compliance: •Ensure the company’s security operations are in full compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards. 5.Incident Management: •Manage and respond to security incidents or breaches, ensuring timely resolution and reporting of such incidents. •Prepare and submit detailed incident reports, daily security reports, and any other required documentation to management. 6.Collaboration with External Vendors: •Liaise with security vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery and manage contracts where necessary. 7.Technology & Systems Management: •Ensure that surveillance systems, access controls, and other security equipment are properly maintained and operational. 8.Employee Training: •Organize and conduct security awareness training programs for employees to enhance company-wide security consciousness. 9.Any Other Duties: •Any other instructions and duties as assigned from time to time. QUALIFICATIONS (MIN): •Diploma or Degree in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field (Ex-police or Ex-Army personnel may be considered, provided they have relevant experience in security management). WORK EXPERIENCE: •Minimum 3 years in security supervisory role, preferably in overseeing third-party security vendors. •Proficiency in using security technology such as CCTV, access controls, and alarm systems. SKILLS: •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing. •Familiarity with security laws, regulations, and best practices. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
