Instrument Engineer

An excellent opportunity exists for an Instrument Engineer to become part of our team at the Kuantan plant. We seek a candidate with experience in designing, installing, monitoring and maintaining instruments used in manufacturing plant. Responsibilities: • Reviews Client's technical documentation and requirements. • Controls of subcontracted discipline engineering documents. • Prepares the technical documentation for instrumentation and systems requisitions and performs the technical evaluations. • Assess Instrumentation performance and recommend improvement for system optimization. • Optimizes instrument systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance. • Performs the F.A.T. • Develop and maintain lifecycle management activities for instrument system. Requirements: • Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Instrumentation/ Control Engineering or other related field. • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in refining/ oil and gas plant/ petrochemical industries. • Proficient in the codes and standard with the oil and gas industry such as API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, etc. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the fields of instruments type. • Good interpersonal and communication skills to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels. • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language will be an advantage. • Must be willing to work in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. Lynas welcomes diversity into our team.
