Machine Operator

Machine Operation: Operate and monitor pulp molding machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production. This includes setting up machines, adjusting controls, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Quality Control: Inspect molded pulp products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to machinery to correct any issues. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed. Report any major malfunctions to the maintenance team. Production Monitoring: Monitor production lines to ensure optimal output and minimal downtime. Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and meet production targets. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any safety hazards. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production quantities, and any issues encountered. Complete necessary documentation and reports as required. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to ensure a smooth production process. Communicate any production issues or improvements to the team. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage raw materials and supplies needed for machine operation. Report any shortages or need for reordering to the appropriate department. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in machine operation is a plus. Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in operating pulp molding machinery or similar equipment. Skills: Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of machine operation. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials. Standing for long periods and working in a manufacturing environment. Manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle tools. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a factory setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Adherence to all safety protocols and use of PPE is required.
