Production Engineer - PE • Working location : Gua Musang, Kelantan • Job type : Permanent • Salary : Max RM5000 • Benefits : 5-day week, yearly & quarterly bonus, free accommodation, dental, optical, insurance, etc • Industry : Palm Oil/Biomass Materials Manufacturing Job Responsibilities : • Analyze and optimize palm oil extraction and processing methods to enhance yield and efficiency. • Implement best practices in production to reduce waste and improve overall performance. • Oversee the maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment used in palm oil production. • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime and prompt resolution of equipment issues. • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. • Conduct regular quality assessments of raw materials and finished products. • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. • Prepare reports on production performance and present findings to management. • Ensure that all production activities adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards. • Conduct training sessions for staff on safety practices and operational procedures. • Participate in the planning and execution of projects related to process improvement or facility upgrades. Requirements : • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or possess equivalent working experience. • Knowledge and experience in handling wastewater treatment plant is a must. • Certification on Competent Person for IETS will be an added advantage. • Experience working in palm oil industry will be an added advantage. • Knowledge in managing Plant Maintenance, upgrading projects and improvement activities. • Knowledge in compliances with all related government authorities.
