ALUMINIUM PROCESS ENGINEER

Key Responsible: 1. Process Optimization - Analyze and enhance aluminium production processes to improve yield, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. - Conduct experiments and trials to validate process changes and develops best practices. 2. Quality Assurance: - Monitor product quality through various testing methods and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. -Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary. 3. Technical Support - Provide technical guidance and support to production teams on process-related issues. - Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process problems to minimize downtime. 4. Project Management: - Lead and participate in project aimed at process improvements, cost reduction, and new product development. Specific Duties: 1. Process Design and Development - Design and develop processes for melting, casting, extrusion, and finishing of aluminium products. - Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance production capabilities. 2. Data Analysis: - Collect and analyze data from production processes to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. - Use statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor process stability. 3. Failure Analysis: - Investigate process failures and defects, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. - Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans. 4. Materilas Selection: - Collaborate with materials scientists to select appropriate alloys and materials for specific applications. - Assess the impact of different materials on processing parameters and product performance. 5. Production Support: - Provide on-the-floor support during production runs to address immediate process challenges. - Train production personnel on new processes, tools, and best practices.
