Position Summary Provide support in delivering production targets through process data surveillance, monitoring, troubleshooting (trip & shutdown), analysis and intervention. Provide support in KBB material management for smooth execution of KBB frontline operations. Provide support in monitoring and following-up movement of equipment on long term isolation and expediting equipment on repair & return. The position is onshore office based, however required to visit KBB offshore location as and when required. Principle Accountabilities 1. HSSE - Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management procedures and controls across the engineering plan to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Comply to all KPOC, MPM and regulatory approved standard and procedures. 2. Actively oversees and monitors the status of unavailability of equipment, i.e. equipment on long term isolation and follow up on the items on repair and return process. 3. Actively supports KBB frontline operations in the effective material management requirements and/or requests to ensure continuous safe production. 4. Daily production reporting to stakeholders and Petronas Online Production Reporting. 5. Assist in monitoring of gas production and provide preliminary summary on KBB gas production and demand outlook (based on nomination), including analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation (surplus, shortfalls etc.). 6. Records and support in the analysis of deferment/downtime incident records for operations improvement. 7. Participate in cross-department collaborations for RCAs (Root Cause Analysis), AAR (After Action Review) or lessons learnt on causes of downtime incidents. 8. Assist in consolidation and visualization of monthly updates to the critical facility production threats, vulnerabilities and opportunities against the operations goal. 9. Assist in Daily Production Surveillance and Management of production data in P2 which may include flaring performance, fuel and produce water discharge. 10. Participates in key interface meetings (both internal and external) and supports in communicating operational activities for planned or unplanned shut down situations. 11. Assist in preparation and consolidation of reports, presentations and information required for internal and external stake holders e.g. TCM, IOM, MC, SOCM, GODC and AMIR. 12. Manage good stakeholder relationships with external parties and partners. 13. Perform the role of Relief OPE (Offshore Process Engineer) and mobilize to offshore facility for sufficient coverage of role. The role entails to be first line troubleshooting, focal between offshore-onshore for operational support, process parameter monitoring, site verification and etc. 14. Promotes collaboration and effective communication between offshore-onshore and with cross-functional teams, in the development of solutions for technical challenges and operational/project requirements. 15. Support in providing inputs to Work Plan & Budget approval and annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets. 16. Participates in contributing to safety assessments, risk management, and compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards. 17. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent grading. Preferably core study in Mechanical Engineering. 2. Applicants must be 25 years old or younger and have not secured a permanent position in the field that they have studied. 3. Good understanding of HSE issues and risks associated with the production of oil and gas. 4. Good communication skills in English, with basic, analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Computer literacy – power BI, PowerPoint, Excel. 6. Ability to learn with good interpersonal skills. 7. Positive thinking/behavior and a team player capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment. 8. Ability to write, read and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 9. Adaptability and proactive mindset to learn and take on new challenges. 10. Strong passion and curiosity for the industry and desire to learn and grow. 11. Priority to Sabahan applicants. 12.
