Sr Mechanical Engineer

· Planning: Collaboration within business development team to develop project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and project requirements. Contributing to the creation of project schedules and ensuring alignment with design milestones. · Conceptualization and Designs: Developing conceptual designs based on project requirements, creating detailed mechanical designs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software while conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed designs. · Prototyping and test validation: Creating and building new prototype products to test and validate concepts to fulfil product requirement. · Documentation: Create comprehensive design documentation including product tree, drawings, machine specification, user manual, BOM list, SOP and work instructions. · Compliance and standards: Ensure designs and concepts comply to relevant internal and industrial standards while participating design review to identify areas for improvement. · Continuous improvement: staying updated on industry trends, standards, new technologies, and relevant practices. Implementing design improvement based on lesson learned from previous projects. · Stakeholders’ management: Communicating with internal and external clients to understand their requirements and preferences. Presenting design proposals and progress updates to clients or stakeholders. · Collaboration with cross-functional team: Work closely with electrical, software, sales, and operational teams to integrate to ensure project success.
