Plantation Supervisor

Sern Kou Group is a Public Listed Company in Malaysia. Our company is expanding the business to the upstream sector in plantation development activities at the state of Kelantan. Responsibility:- a. Primary responsible is to support the Project Team in afforestation operations, and accurately implement their decisions, ensure the timely and compliant delivery of at least one (1) hands-on project progress, particularly in plantation development. Activities include site establishment, seedlings refinement, planting, fertilizing, pest control, and bush and tree trimming. b. This position requires on-site stays for at least three (3) days per week. c. To supervise at least two (2) team leads to manage respective plantation sites. d. To ensure, compile, and submit at least three (3) project site progress reports for the project team on-time. e. To supervise and expedite day-to-day site operations according to weather conditions. f. To provide instructions and ensure safety and effective communication of planters. g. To assist in internal and external inspection and audit procedures. h. To recommend and arrange training schedules relevant to afforestation skills, worker safety and machine operations together with maintenance and machine supervisor to empower operators’ skills. i. To provide the project team with traceable evidence of receivables and deliverables. j. To prevent any violations of forestry and environmental regulations. k. Base in Gua Musang, Kelantan. Requirements:- a. Minimum of 6 years relevant working experience, preferably in plantation and open to construction sectors. b. Minimum Diploma in Agriculture. c. Successful plantation/construction track records are a great plus. d. Candidates familiar with Malaysian’s Forestry Act or Environmental Act is favorable. e. Candidates familiar with research methods are a bonus. f. Self-driven and deadline orientated personality is preferable. Application:- a. Self-constructed resume is a plus. b.
