Roles and Responsibilities Overall Department Operations -Assist the Operation Department Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency. -Liaise with customer service assistants and purchasing assistants to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This includes verifying order details, coordinating with technicians for scheduling, and ensuring parts availability. -Monitor and analyze department performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. -Develop and implement departmental procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. -Prepare and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Technician Management -Oversee the scheduling and workload of windshield repair and replacement technicians. -Ensure technicians comply with safety regulations and proper repair procedures. -Conduct performance evaluations for technicians, providing feedback and coaching for development. New Outlet Opening -Collaborate with the admin department, technical department, and purchasing department to prepare for new outlet openings. This includes: -Coordinating with admin to ensure proper staffing and paperwork are in order. -Partnering with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of necessary tools, equipment, and inventory for the new location. Additional Responsibilities -Work with the Customer Service Department to manage customer complaints and inquiries, resolving them promptly and professionally. -Work with admin to ensure proper and scheduled maintenance of equipment, company vehicles and physical facilities. -Prepare reports for the Operation Department Manager, summarizing departmental performance and progress on key initiatives.
