1. MAIN OBJECTIVES : • Provide support to sales, customer and Contactor engineering by gathering and documenting the technical requirements necessary to configure the sales-order quote and launch the Contactor design process. • Provide on-site support for the resolution of ISG issues that arise on the customer test floor. Act as Contactor engineering liaison to customers. Provide customer requirements feedback to the design team to ensure plans are aligned with customer needs and communicate to customers, plans and schedules on corrective-action projects. • Closely work with and support ISG Application’s superior and team. Provide and manage test contacting projects and tester integrations. Handle new product line evaluations and market introductions. 2. RESPONSIBILITIES : • Understand customers’ problems (needs and wants), capture design requirements and feedback to the factory to meet customer needs and ensures customer satisfaction. • Work with Sales & Engineering to define comprehensive, accurate quotations necessary to drive subsequent sales order configuration. • Take primary ownership of driving the completion of the corrective action plan. • Interface with the contactor organization (Sales, Planning, Engineering) to ensure corrective action closure. • Conducts relevant application support service training and co-trainer in customer training. • Works as a dependable part of a larger project team. • Participate in project team discussions and be able to actively provide constructive suggestions for the improvement of process/product design. • Build and establish strong relationships with the factory to co-develop solutions to ISG. • Take initiative to own and solve specific customer issues. • Required to travel. 3. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS : • Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, or closely related technical field of study will be considered. • Experience: Minimum of two years experience in mechanical design or supporting test handlers and device contactors. • Skills/Technical Requirements: Knowledge of semiconductor packages and back-end test production operations. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to develop presentations to provide direction for the design team, work tracking spreadsheets, email communication with the kit organization and represent in customer or internal meetings. Must have strong process ownership and project management skills to work effectively with customers, sales and engineering in a team environment. Must be able to effectively translate customer requirements to the ISG organization, and effectively handle customer inquiries in a professional and competent manner. Must be able to analyze and resolve complex customer requirements and internal process framework. Proficiency with SolidWorks/AutoCAD (latest release) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required. • Willing to travel at short notice, possession of own car preferred.
