• You are required to complete a total working hours of 40 hours/week and 4 hours on one of the Saturdays of the month based on the Saturday Duty Roster. During these hours, you shall be involved in teaching, research, administrative task and other academic matters as and when assigned by your supervisor. The distribution of this workload is done accordingly to the Head’s and Dean/Director’s discretion taking into account other staffing concerns. • You shall contribute in research and development projects, materials and curriculum/syllabi development for teaching purposes; such research projects and materials and curriculum/syllabi may be copyrighted. All copyrights belong to the Company. • You shall contribute and publish at least one (1) international publication in one year. • You shall perform relevant administrative tasks as and when required. • You shall counsel students pertaining to their academic and career. • You shall conduct public seminars on contemporary issues if necessary. • You shall upgrade the department both qualitatively and quantitatively. • You shall be involved in some major public exhibitions, open days and road shows should you be required. • You shall be responsible for all the projects/assignments given to you. The projects/assignments would require you to teach, prepare lecture notes, prepare reports for your superior(s) and to take on other responsibilities as a Lecturer. • You shall invigilate examinations scheduled on weekdays, rest days or public holidays. • You shall set and mark all examination scripts including supplementary examination papers. • You shall perform all other duties relating to the above that may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time. • Involvement of academic staff in marketing-related activities including education fair, open day, school talk that might required minimal travelling. • Involvement in bringing industrial speakers to classroom and organize industrial visit when necessary. • Comply with OHS policy, procedures and instructions, legal requirements and participate in OHS meetings and trainings when required. Requirement(s): • MBBS & Master in Pharmacology. • Minimum 1-3 years teaching experience. • Valid APC with NSR registration • Excellent communication skills. • Pro-active and self motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team. • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player. • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
