Project Engineer

· Overall project schedule preparation, resources planning and management in order to complete projects/works in accordance with the project specification and requirement to the timeline and budget. · To supervise and manage all site work progress including site inspections, measurements, quality verifications, specification compliances, drawings compliances and etc · Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, consultant and clients on site · Attend site meetings and coordinate with client, consultants, main-con, sub-con and project team members in project execution of all progress tasks. · Follow up project off and on site and update the CEO on the progress of works from time to time · Prepare work report, updates site issue and reporting to management. · Ensure correspondence, calibration record and construction drawings are maintained and retained according to ISO standard REQUIREMENTS: • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field • Good communication skill, team work, positive attitude, strong integrity, strong sense of responsibility, good problem solving skills, good time management, good leadership. • Able to read and understand construction drawings • Ability to work under tight schedules and willing to work long hours during tendering stage. • Willing to travel from one site to another especially at Semporna, Lahad Datu & Tawau Area. • Preferably possess own transport • Familiar with local construction market and able to source materials, equipment, suppliers & subcontractors.
