Safety Officer (Yellow Book Holder)

REQUIREMENTS - Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety Health & Environment or equivalent. - At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in construction industry. - Possess a valid Yellow Book from DOSH and valid CIDB card. - Experienced in the Construction industry preferably in data center - Good written and verbal communication skill in English - Excellent communication skills to liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams - Prefer candidate who based and willing to work in Johor JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - To plan, assign and supervise safety matters and requirement for all work sites - To implement all policies, activities, procedure and instruction as relevant and requirement by the quality system - To ensure all work sites and offices are safe and in compliance with the OSHA Act 1994, CIDB requirements and company safety policies - Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the site - Correcting any unsafe practices - Checking of sub-contractors work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with. - To handle and monitor general workers problems and report to HOD - Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures - Prepare monthly Safety Audit Report to the management on timely basis
