Security & Safety Coordinator

"Security • Conduct investigations on security / safety related activities as necessary / assigned. • Facilitate the actions of making Police reports in the event of theft/ fraud/ other security cases being identified. • Checks the daily deployment of security staff to ensure the sufficiency and effectiveness of the workforce. • Screens for any misconduct or misbehavior to maintain a high standard of discipline within the department. • Conduct investigations on security / safety related activities as necessary / assigned. • Facilitate the actions of making Police reports in the event of theft/ fraud/ other security cases being identified • Records and analyzes incident reports lodged to the department and proposes the course of action to be taken. • Liaises with other departments in the company pertaining to the provision of security services for any activities or functions. • Assists in the conducting of in-house security training. • Prepares reports and conducts briefings for department meetings. Safety • Enforce OSHA rules relating to occupational safety and health to prevent occupational injury or illness to guests, employees, contractors and visitors • Inspect the company’s properties to determine whether any machinery, equipment, substance, appliance, process or any description of manual labour used in the place of work is of such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any person • Overall Risk Management process and program implementation • Ensure all Fire Fighting Equipment & System and Security system are well maintained and functioning • Liaise and submit reports to DOSH on any reported accidents"
