CNC Milling Engineer

• Responsible for operating, handling, and overseeing CNC milling machines to perform tasks such as milling, drilling, and grinding in accordance with project specifications. • Ensure that CNC milling machines are functioning efficiently and are in compliance with company standards and safety protocols. • Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on CNC machines, identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize machine downtime. • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, manufacture, and modify tools, dies, and fixtures for CNC machining processes as per project requirements. • Program and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings and blueprints, ensuring precision and accuracy in machining operations. • Set up and calibrate tools and fixtures on CNC milling machines, ensuring high precision during the machining of components. • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and other tools to inspect and verify the quality of machined parts. • Ensure that all machined components meet required specifications and tolerances before moving to the next stage of production. • Analyze production schedules and assist in optimizing machine operations to meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality output. • Continuously assess and improve CNC machining processes to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with CNC machines, including programming errors, tool breakages, or machine malfunctions. • Collaborate closely with design engineers and production teams to ensure that machining processes align with design requirements and project goals. • Communicate effectively with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders. • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations while working with CNC machines. • Ensure that all tools, equipment, and workspaces are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC milling technology and recommend improvements in tools, processes, or equipment as necessary.
