- To assist Supervisor – Warehouse maintain an inventory system that accurately updates stock list and WIP items on regular stock-take days. - To monitor good housekeeping and ensure that there is a system for FIFO (First In First out) for all raw material goods & finished goods in the warehouse. - To supervise the routine check on quality of raw material goods & finished goods and ensure that fumigation/ dehumidification processes are performed as and when required so as to prevent deterioration in quality of items kept in warehouse. To bring to department head attention items those have deteriorated in quality so that appropriate action can be taken to repair/ discount / dispose the said items. - To control the receipt of finished goods from Production dept or raw materials from vendors and ensure goods match said quantity & item description. To update Stock database and process related paperwork (i.e., Goods Issue Note, sub-materials/packing materials stock). - To handle the withdrawal of raw material and ensure it is sent to the relevant department and stock database updated. - To measure required carton size and propose to order in time, ensure carton marking & carton sizes are correct and that goods are packed in accordance to customer specification. - To do stock controlling of sub materials/packing material/others components accessories and request for replenish when required. - Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules. - Operate a forklift and track inventory of incoming and outgoing items, relocate items within the warehouse or factory. - Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials, label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments. Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Valid forklift certification from an approved training program. - At least 2-3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. - Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. - Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on materials. - Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other employees and supervisors. - Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow them at all times. - Willingness to assist with other warehouse or manufacturing tasks as needed. - Able to work as soon as possible without serve notice.
